Special Finishes

WE CAN FINISH FURNITURE TO MATCH A CUSTOMER'S SAMPLE (MINIMUM SIZE NEEDED)

Our experienced spray finishers have a wealth of knowledge in special effects. We are able to produce finishes to match anything our customers require (as long as we have a sample / photograph to match too). The following are some of the most popular finishes:
  • Distressing: (Tonal - Level 1) Carried out by darkening various parts of the furniture especially around the joints. (Level 2) A small amount of physical markings are made in the areas of high wear plus tonal distressing. (Level 3) Much more obvious and deep physical aging is made on the wider surface area of the item with heavy tonal distressing.
  • Sandblasting: This removes all softer grain in the wood and therefore physically raises the grain of the harder wood. Often used as part of distressing.
  • Colour wash (Any BS colour possible).
  • Gilting (Can be antiqued if necesary).
  • Marbling.
  • White "wiped" finish.
  • Brushed green: two tone green effect.
