With the best use of modern technology we now aim to offer a new wider audience the opportunity to enjoy the fruits of one Italy's finest chair manufacturers.
Founded in 1959, in Manzano, Italy, Montbel was the passion of Silvano Montina, who personally wanted to put into practice the experience he had gained in the chair industry since he was a boy. Right from the beginning Montbel has been renowned for the particular attention given to its products and awareness to each and every customer’s need. These particular qualities improved and strengthened during the sixties.
In 1966 the company transferred to its present day production site, thus enabling it to reinforce its commercial plans and allow it to expand from the domestic into the international market. This precious know-how has been harnessed to push the company forward in recent years towards two changes.
The first came about when Sig. Montina’s two children entered the business to take charge of the commercial and production departments. The second was to bring about the creation of its own product ranges and therefore a position in the market for the Montbel brand name.
This collection has been created with the collaboration of both Italian and foreign designers who specialize in this field. All the models presented are protected by copyright and have been tested (by the Institute CATAS) to unite maximum comfort and strength with splendid design.
