SIZES
|
As all wood-based tops are made to order, the size and shape is entirely dependent on the customer. However, these are guideline sizes;
- 600mm (round or square)
Suitable for poseur tables and 'drinking' tables.
- 700mm (round or square)
Suitable for 'snack' type food situations.
- 750mm (round or square)
Most popular where space is quite tight but full meals are served.
- 800mm (round or square)
Ideal for two, for a formal three course style menu, or four if the food is more sandwiches and beer.
- 1000mm (round)
Ideal for groups.(Please note that not all pedestal bases can take this size top).
- 1200mm x 700/750mm
Ideal for four.

We usually use beech, we can stain it to any colour to suit your requirements.

All are 26mm thick with square edges with the upper and lower edges having a 3mm chamfer. Please note - quickest lead time!

LAMINATED
|
|
|
Most commonly on a MDF core although can supply on a plycore, this creates a plethora of different options.
|
|
|
Ranges include plain colours, speckle and dust effects, woodgrain effects, stone and granite effects, metallic effects, natural material effects and current trend effects.

|
|
We use top quality laminates from Formica, Perstorp, Polyrey and Wilson Art among others.Edge details can be solid hardwood (usually 25mm x 25mm or 5mm x 25mm), self edged in the laminate, or as core (most economical), PVC in a variety of colours or in real aluminium (either smooth or ribbed)

VENEERED
|
|
|
These can be supplied in a variety of stained finished (from natural wood colours to more vibrant colour stains / sprays) with a number of edge finishes.
|
|
|
Standard depth of top is 25mm.We can supply any size or shape.
|

PLAIN MDF
|
|
|
Painted or plain MDF tops can be supplied for use with a tablecloth; they can also be padded to prevent slipping or noise or covered in a variety of baize colours.
|
|

|
|

|
STAINLESS STEEL (INOX) TOPS
|
|
|
Ideal for indoor cafes or any outdoor situation. Standard sizes are 600 / 700 / 800 (Round or square) and 700 x 1200mm (Rectangular).

|
|
|
MARBLE
|
|
|
The most popular being white, black and green.
|
|
|
We caution that natural marble is a porous material and prone to staining in use.
|
|
|
All marble needs to be sealed and regular cleaning and polishing is essential to keep staining to a minimum.
|
|
|
Limited shapes available.
|
|

|
|

|
GRANITE
|
|
|
Granite is harder than wood and gives a high class finish to any project. They give high resistance to heat, stain and abrasion but this does not mean that they cannot be marked.
|
|
|
Clean with a damp cloth and warm water. Suitable for outdoor use.
|
|
|
Most popular type is the Nero Bon Accord (dark grey). These tops are 20mm thick and glued to a 18mm thick mounting board for added strength. Minimum order quantities required.

|
|
|
|
GLASS
|
|
|
Usually highly attractive, glass tops do suffer from ongoing management costs (clear glass is very difficult to keep spotlessly clean and finger marks necessitate much polishing!).
|
|
|
All glass is tempered but still requires a frame in high impact areas.
|
|
|
The easiest glass to manage is the crackled (19mm) or satinised (10mm or 15mm) although we only supply them in rounds.
|
|
 |
|
|
|
OTHERS
|
|
|
Please ask us if you have any particular requests. We are very flexible in terms of material and detailing - we recently supplied a large quantity of carbon fibre tops!

ACCESSORIES

Joining leaves can be supplied where required plus items such as number plates and No Smoking / Smoking plates.
