INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION: BAR STOOLS WITH STAYING POWER

The industrial look is a firm staple amongst modern hospitality venues. An important part of the furniture mix for many bars and restaurants is an industrial stool which is strong, stylish and easy to use.

At Hill Cross we have been developing our industrial collection in our extensive bar furniture range over the last few years and have dozens of stools available each with different looks and finishes. From high to low, distressed to polished chrome it is not difficult to find the perfect stool to balance your interior aesthetic.

One of the most popular designs in our industrial styled collection of stools is the Revolution Stool, which has been specified on many stunning projects, such as Comptoir Libanais, Gatwick. The stools have many attributes which enable them to be a robust and functional choice – stackable and with a thick walled aluminum frame with supportive stretchers. There finish, a matt lacquer also gives a very attractive finish.

Another way to introduce the industrial look to your palette is to choose traditional designs and add vintage and industrial finishes – the Erna Stool was added to the collection this year and is available in a vintage painted finish for the frame as well as six vintage paint finishes for the wooden slatted seat that again add a subtle touch of industrial to the piece.

Recently Hill Cross’s product development team have developed a Bespoke Hairpin Bar Stool, which is based on the requirements of several key projects. It is a welcome addition to an already well developed range of industrial themed bar and low stools specifically designed to meet the demands of modern hospitality venues. It’s strength comes from the steel 12mm ‘hairpins’, the weight ensures a robust structure which is suitable for withstanding the daily-grind of many modern venues. The weight of the steel ensures the stool remains strong and well balanced. The rounded hairpin legs are intersected by a looped design which provides an elegant symmetrical look. Each hairpin is engineered to allow glides to be added for ease of movement or alternatively the stool can be affixed to the floor for extra security.  The seat is crafted from solid character wood which can also be upholstered in the customer’s choice of contract fabric or faux-leather.

We work globally with clients and pride ourselves on our ability to provide a five star project managed service.
