SEVEN HOSPICE – A PRIME EXAMPLE OF HEALTHCARE DESIGN.

Hill Cross Furniture were thrilled to work with the talented interior designer, Elaine Lewis on the design scheme for the new £5 million Hospice centre based in Bicton, Shrewsbury. It houses therapy suites, treatment rooms, visitor facilities and rehabilitation services, it has been designed to offer state of the art facilities, whilst providing comfort to its patients and visitors.

Everything about the centre’s design has been thought through so it is as welcoming and non-intimidating as possible…it’s the little touches that make so much difference to patients when they use the facilities.

With its calming colour pallet and subtle pops of colour, the hospice offers a place to rest and relax, whether on your own or with family and friends.

Hill Cross provided stylish furniture throughout the hospice, with a mix of lounge furniture, tables, chairs and office furniture. We also supplied bespoke fixed seating providing areas of privacy for patients and their visitors.

Rooms and spaces were kitted out with Contract Grade items designed to stand up to the rigors of healthcare use, but it’s not all about function, the form has played a huge amount of importance… With high quality finishes and items upholstered to Elaine’s specifications, the design is truly unique to Seven Hospice and has created a space that looks amazing, and will offer the care and rest its patients need.

Good hospice design is vital to ensure patient comfort, and the addition of stylish and functional furniture is paramount for the dignity and care of anyone using the facility.
