We are a leading UK supplier of contract furniture and commercial furniture to the Leisure and Hospitality Industries offering a vast choice of indoor, outdoor and poolside furniture to suit all tastes, styles, designs and budgets.


Company History

In December 2001, Eden Furniture was born from a management buyout of the UK arm of the previously French owned Sauvagnat S.A. This change enabled us to work with a number of new suppliers in order to provide the ranges of products needed to satisfy our customer's demands. This was achieved whilst retaining the sole UK distribution rights for the world renowned 'Evolutif' resin brand.


The company was originally founded in the early 1970's as the UK arm of the Sommer Allibert Group. Sommer Allibert quickly established themselves as the market leader in Garden Furniture, producing high quality resin ranges for use in both the home and business environment. The names of Dangari, Tangor & Cormoran became synonymous with first rate furniture. In 1997, Sommer Allibert sold the furniture side of the business to the then management team to concentrate on other markets. Sauvagnat S.A. was formed and Sauvagnat UK Ltd took over in the United Kingdom. The Allibert resin was re-launched under the new brand name of 'Evolutif'. All of the moulds, patents and designs were purchased from Allibert in order that the products could continue to be offered into the market place.


In 2010 we moved to new larger premises in Redditch taking on a 20,000 square foot warehouse and offices complete with a 2,000 square foot showroom. Visitors are welcome but please contact the sales office to book an appointment.


Suppliers of Contract Furniture & Commercial Furniture

We supply a number of Architects, Designers, Shopfitters, Hotel & Pub Chains, Restaurants, Cafes & Bistros, Local & County Councils, Nursing Homes, etc. We are approved suppliers to the majority of companies in the above fields. Private individuals and the general public can be supplied directly by our Retail Sales Division. Our business has been founded on a number of philosophies, the primary focuses being on customer service and care, value for money and knowledge of our market place.



In January 2017 Eden agreed a deal to supply the GO IN range of furniture in the UK. GO IN offer a high quality 'design led' range which we feel sit well within the Eden Furniture portfolio.


GO IN is a specialist in functional and design-oriented restaurant furniture. In addition to an extremely broad product range of chairs, tables, bar stools, upholstered furniture and bench systems, GO IN provides its customers with competent support in all aspects of furnishing restaurants and hotels. A selection of 15 different wood stains combined with 270 available cover materials, allow an individual product design to suit every conceivable restaurant ambiance. The company's particular strengths include immediate delivery ex works, certified product quality, the attractive B2B price-performance ratio and more than 40 years of experience.

GOIN Range of Furniture Link


In March 2014, we agreed a deal to distribute the world renowned Zown Contract brand of furniture from Maxchief within the UK. Having dealt with Zown products for a number of years, Eden were approached by Maxchief Europe, owners of the Zown brand, to become sole distributors for the brand in the UK. Negotiations were swift as it was a win-win situation all round for both parties.


Managing Director of Eden, Gary Vale commented "This is a tremendous opportunity for both Eden and Zown to attack this section of the UK furniture market with gusto. The demand for the type of products in the Zown range has grown massively over the past few years and now we have a tie in with the market leader. The quality of the products is second to none and the warranty gives customers peace of mind. The fact that the products are competitively priced was the final piece of the jigsaw as far as Eden was concerned. It's a real feather in our cap to have this brand on board."


The manufacturing factory in the Far East has been awarded both ISO-9002 (1994) and ISO-9001 (2000) certifications and has the capacity to produce 600 - 800 containers a month.
